How To Use
The earpiece attaches to the radio using the accessory connector (shown below). Once connected (also called installed), the radio's inbuilt microphone and speaker are disabled and routed via the earpiece. The earpiece can then be used to listen to incoming audio. When the user wants to speak, they must press the PTT button (shown below) and their voice will be routed via the flexible boom microphone.
Inline PTT Button
The button is integrated into the cable and is situated a good distance from the earpiece allowing the PTT button to be comnveniently clipped to the tie-clip or collar area of the user's clothing.
Motorola MOTOTRBO DP4 Series Connector
The connector on this earpiece is the familiar XPR7350e/XPR7550e series connector (also known as M7). This is compatible with all DP4000, DP4000e, and older XPR6350/XPR6550 series.
Compatible Two Way Radios
This earpiece is compatible with many different series' of two-way radios. But it's important to check this list to ensure the radio you have is compatible because earpieces cannot be returned. This earpiece is compatible with these radios.
