Motorola RMV2080 VHF 2W 8 Channel
The RMV2080 is a VHF two-way radio from Motorola. Capable of using 8 separate channels, there are 27 selectable VHF frequencies to ensure that should you find you are colliding with unwanted transmissions it can easily be rectified. This radio is an NOAA weather radio, provide updates on environmental conditions.
Should you be working in areas with adverse environmental conditions then the RMV2080 is fit to operate in these conditions as it has been tested to MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G. The RMV2080 is also built to IP55 specifications meaning that it not only has a limited Ingres against dust intrusion but is also safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles.
The RMV2080 has a black box design making it extremely simple to use. On top of the radio are both a channel selection knob and power/volume knob. 2 programmable buttons allow for regular used features to be accessed at the press of a button, whilst a large textured pushto talk button ensures minimal wear no matter how many times the radio is used to transmit.
